As the weekend approaches, Edmonton is buzzing with things to see, taste, and experience. From immersive art installations and live storytelling to hands-on workshops, music, and unique dining events, there’s no shortage of ways to make the most of your Friday through Sunday.

Friday

• Last Weekend to Check out this FREE Digital Media Exhibition
  Xpainting is an interactive, multimedia installation about Edmonton’s river valley. Incorporating painting, lighting, sound, and video elements, Jesse Thomas and Will Bauer create an installation that blurs lines between artist and audience — an immersive experience where human participation influences nature. 

• Last Day for Escape Wonderland - $5 Escape Room
  You have received an invitation to the wonderful, elusive Mad Hatter's Tea Party in Wonderland. However, once you get there, you realize you and your friends are the first and only guests in attendance. Stuck in Wonderland, you have 45 minutes to escape and uncover the Mad Hatter's tricks before you lose your minds and become permanent guests at the Tea Party forever. Do you have what it takes to find the White Rabbits watch? Try not to get caught up by the Hatter's games.

• Discover the Francophone Film Festival
  From March 20th to 22nd, cinephiles and culture enthusiasts alike are invited to immerse themselves in a curated selection of 5 Francophone films from around the world, as part of Alliance Française mission to promote the French language and Francophone culture.⁠ All films will be in French with English subtitles.⁠

• See The Winter Storytelling Series Hit the Stage
  ᐋᒋᒧᐃᐧᐣ âcimowin, Fringe’s Winter Storytelling Series is a celebration of Indigenous storytelling where the word âcimowin carries the essence of story in the Cree language. In the quiet of the season, storytelling warms our spirits, connecting us to our ancestors, culture, and community. As winter blankets the land, our gathering holds special significance. We are joined by Elders who impart traditional wisdom; we hear stories, and experience works in process created by Artists local to Treaty 6 and the Métis homeland; we connect in community, in circle.

• Christopher Gowen Delights with Handcrafted Magic
  Step into Chris' intimate parlour setting, inspired by show rooms of the Victorian era and meticulously designed for an exclusive audience of 40 people. Every guest is guaranteed a front-row experience where unseen, world-class magic happens all around you.

• Catch the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra Pairing: Beethoven & Beers
  Beethoven subtitled his sixth Symphony “Pastoral - Recollections of Country Life” and filled it with innovative orchestral depictions of nature, including birdsong, a flowing stream, and a thunderstorm. Camille Saint-Saëns’ philosophy that “form is the essence of art” is wonderfully realized in his compact and eloquent Cello Concerto No. 1, featuring Ottawa-born Bryan Cheng in his long overdue ESO debut. As a bonus, one free food or beverage item is included with every ticket.

Saturday

• Browse the Shelves at Porch Light Books During Classics After Hours
  Saturday night plans, reimagined: Nepali momos + after hours bookstore browsing. $15 book voucher included - because some nights don’t need a plan. • Hop on the Art Bus in Edmonton
  Hop on the Artbus and discover the creative side of downtown!   For one night only, the streets of downtown Edmonton will light up with lovingly crafted and stunningly beautiful lantern creatures! After the parade, catch a full night of performances.

• Find the Energy at a Big Band Performance
