“Forgotten” is an exploration of J.M. Barrie’s classic children’s story, “Peter Pan” and poses the question of whether it was simply a story, a figment of Wendy’s imagination or a real place. In the 21st century we are accustomed to the concepts of time travel and alternate universes. This fantasy play for high school cleverly switches between, so to speak, the alternate Earths in the story.

Four badass women lose their heads in this irreverent, women-powered comedy set during the French Revolution’s Reign of Terror. Playwright Olympe de Gouges, assassin Charlotte Corday, former queen (and fan of ribbons) Marie Antoinette, and Haitian rebel Marianne Angelle hang out, murder Marat, and try to beat back the extremist insanity in 1793 Paris.

The Mboya Nicholson Trio, featuring Mboya on piano, Tom Golub on bass and Dan Skakun on drums, comes with an agenda: to swing. Aside from the iconic music of Mary Lou Williams, Thelonious Monk and others, the band will also play compositions primarily from the Mboya Nicholson songbook.
