The Edmonton Weavers’ Guild is filling Strathcona Community League Hall with handmade work from its members: woven scarves and tea towels, felted bowls, knitted shawls and skeins of handspun yarn.
It’s an easy way to cross a few names off the holiday list with gifts you won’t find anywhere else. Fibre artists can also stock up on yarn for their next project.
Members will be demonstrating weaving, spinning and more throughout the day, so you can watch the work come together. Admission and parking are both free.
