Transylvania, 1882. A storm has washed out the only bridge, and you and your fellow travellers have taken shelter in a mountain castle owned by the charming, slightly unsettling Baron Stroud. Also stranded with you are a famous monster hunter, Dr. Von Helstrom, and rumours of an inmate who escaped from the nearby Marchare Asylum. Before dessert, someone will turn up dead.
Edmonton’s Clown Cartel runs the show, and it’s fully interactive. Their actors work the room all night, so you’ll be gathering clues, questioning suspects, sitting in on interrogations and comparing theories with the other tables to name the killer.
Your $99 ticket includes a three-course dinner. It starts with a Tuscan salad, followed by your choice of black truffle-salted Alberta beef tenderloin, chicken marsala or a vegetarian fettuccine, and finishes with a layered chocolate mousse cake.
Costumes are encouraged, so feel free to come as a suspect.
