Bay 1 Gallery’s annual Box & Bowl Show is back, bringing together handcrafted boxes and bowls from some of Alberta’s finest woodworkers and contemporary craft artists.

This juried show celebrates familiar, everyday forms made extraordinary through thoughtful design and meticulous craftsmanship. Wood is still at the heart of the exhibition, and this year it’s joined by work in other fine craft media.

The gallery sits inside Eberhard’s Manufacturing, a family woodworking business with more than 70 years of history, where fine furniture is shown alongside fine art and contemporary craft.

Drop by an opening reception to meet the makers. Friday evening includes live music and a cash bar with local brews; Saturday afternoon offers a quieter browse. The show runs through the holidays, and admission is free.
