The Canadian Donation and Transplantation Research Program is hosting a free screening of Thanks for the Liver, a documentary by Fraser Allen Best, in the Milner Library's Muttart Theatre.
Filmed largely in first-person footage in Toronto, the documentary follows a living liver transplant from the year before surgery through the year after. It looks closely at the bond between donor and recipient, the clinicians involved, and the long road through recovery.
