CAVA is inviting the public to help build an outdoor clay mural for its gallery in Bonnie Doon, part of the "Nature and Heritage of Our Home" art project taking place across Alberta.
Guided by artist Sébastien Caron-Roy, you'll explore clay, experiment with colour, and create and glaze your own pottery tile. The project runs over two workshop sessions, and the finished tiles will be exhibited on CAVA's exterior walls.
No experience is needed, materials are provided, and the workshops are free. Everyone is welcome, though sessions will be held mostly in French.
