Sawmill turns 50 this November and is marking the occasion by raising money for five Edmonton community organizations: iHuman Youth Society, Adaptabilities, the Zebra Child & Youth Advocacy Centre, Chrysalis and the Centre for Autism Services Alberta.
The full $99 ticket price goes to those partners. Their work covers vulnerable youth, children and families affected by abuse, people with developmental disabilities, and Autistic people and their families.
The evening opens with a glass of bubbly and live music from Jeff Hendricks while you meet the partner organizations. Food stations open next, with passed hors d’oeuvres, a beef tenderloin carving station, and sautéed shrimp and scallops.
A toast and a short look back at Sawmill’s 50 years follow, along with the fundraising presentation. After that, the room opens up for dancing.
