Horizon Drive-In opens its holiday movie night at the Edmonton Valley Zoo with Elf. Will Ferrell plays Buddy, a human raised by elves at the North Pole, who heads to New York City to track down his father. It’s a good early-evening pick for families, especially if the kids are already in their pajamas.
You’ll hear the movie through your car’s FM radio. If your car radio doesn’t work, bring a battery-powered one, or sit outside in the outdoor viewing zone.
Parking is first-come, first-served and sorted by vehicle type, so plan to arrive 30–45 minutes before showtime. Concessions are on-site, and if you pre-order snacks online you can use the express pickup lane.
A portion of every ticket supports the Valley Zoo Development Society and its conservation, education and animal care work.
