On Stage: Guys & Dolls

Join Foote in the Door in their 13th season for the classic comedy musical Guys and Dolls, playing November 21-30, 2025 at the Theatre Servus Credit Union at La Cite Francophone. Guys and Dolls has music and lyrics by Frank Loesser with a book by Jo Sweling and Abe Burrows.  

In an isolated castle, the tyrannous Lord Osmond now reigns after the suspicious death of his brother two decades ago. After years of hiding in the shadows, Osmond captures a young villager named Angela intent to make her his wife. When Angela refuses, the haunting mystery of the former ruler is revealed in both violent and supernatural ways.

Join the Old Yale Pop up, Miracle, Christmas experience for fun, pop-up movie nights through the season. Come for the free movie treat, and relax while you catch a movie on the big screen to enjoy the festive holiday cocktail menu.

Every week Wednesday at 10PM The Grindstone hosts one of Edmonton's only Stand-Up Comedy Open Mics to give first timers a chance to take a huge risk, and pros a chance to work on new material. Each set is 5 minutes, with a light at 4 minutes.

On Stage: Mermaid
November 29, 2025

A bold reimagining of Hans Christian Andersen's tale of love, loss and desire, transported to a contemporary setting. Mermaid explores what it means to come of age, as a woman, in a world full of conflicting expectations.

You will have an opportunity to try the various pens, inks, and papers to learn how they work together (or not!) and take your samples home in a little package for future reference. This is your opportunity to ask questions, get familiar with the tools of the trade, and move forward on your Calligraphic Journey!
