Enjoy a FREE Outdoor Movie Night in the heart of Edmonton’s Chinatown as part of the 2026 Edmonton Dragon Festival!
The evening begins with the world première of Shades of LuLu (盧鳳娟：光影人生), a locally produced documentary by the Chinatown Transformation Collaborative (CTC) in association with OCD Productions. The film celebrates the life, heritage and colourful story of LuLu, reflecting the people and stories that have helped shape Edmonton’s Chinatown.
Following the documentary, settle in for a free outdoor screening of the beloved comedy Shaolin Soccer (2001), starring and directed by Stephen Chow — a fun combination of martial arts, comedy and soccer perfect for a summer night.
