A stretch of boreal forest that hasn't been open to the public. On August 29, it is. The Edmonton Area Land Trust marks the public opening of its newest property with an easy 3 km walk through forest and peatland, negligible elevation, led by biologist Kirby England — a man who goes by the Beaver Guy and means it — out to visit the resident engineers. Registration is by donation. A property only opens once. This is that day.
