The group is reading A Mask the Color of the Sky by Bassem Khandaqji, winner of the Arabic Booker Prize. It's the story of Nur, a young Palestinian refugee mistaken for an Ashkenazi Jew, and his search for identity and freedom — written entirely by the author from behind bars.
