Western Canada’s big chocolate tasting festival returns to Edmonton for two days in April. Bean-to-bar makers, bonbon artisans and specialty food producers from across Canada and beyond set up shop under one roof, and you get to taste your way through all of it.
Taste Tickets are your currency for sampling bars, truffles, baked goods and chocolate drinks. Between bites, you can chat with the makers about where their cacao comes from, or catch a demo on how a bean becomes a bar.
Friday is adults only, with a quieter pace and maker-led demonstrations. Saturday opens to everyone, and kids 12 and under get in free with a paying adult. Both days start with a VIP hour that includes a guided tasting, 15 Taste Tickets and a ChocoFest tote, followed by a seniors-only session for anyone who wants smaller crowds.
