Celebrate the return of Dragon Boat Racing and family-friendly fun in the river valley! The Edmonton Dragon Festival is a premier cultural and sporting event celebrating the rich traditions of dragon boating, lion dance, and Asian heritage in the heart of Edmonton.

• Opening Ceremony: August 15 | 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM

• Dragon Boat Races: August 16 & 17 | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Image Dragon Boat Race)

• Beer Garden & Food Trucks: 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM

• Family Activities: August 16 & 17 | 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM

• Free kites for the first 50 families (Image Flying a kite)

• Scavenger Hunt (with prizes!)

• Guided tours of the Chinese Garden
