The Edmonton Folk Music Festival 2026 returns to the scenic hillside of Gallagher Park from August 6–9, 2026, bringing together music lovers for four days of world-class performances, artistic collaboration, and community celebration. Recognized as one of Canada's premier music festivals, the event showcases an eclectic mix of folk, roots, indie, blues, soul, country, and global music across multiple stages overlooking Edmonton's river valley and skyline.
The 2026 edition features approximately 60 artists, including acclaimed performers such as Nathaniel Rateliff, Cat Power, Of Monsters and Men, Corb Lund, and Arrested Development. Beyond the headline performances, attendees can discover emerging artists, enjoy collaborative workshop sessions, explore artisan markets, sample diverse food vendors, and experience the welcoming atmosphere created by thousands of dedicated volunteers.
