September 24 to October 3, EIFF takes over Metro Cinema at the Garneau and Landmark Cinemas downtown for 10 days of cinema — 146 films, including shorts, documentaries and full-length features from Edmonton and around the world.
Expect filmmaker Q&As, gala screenings, local filmmakers, festival-circuit favorites and special events throughout the run. Opening weekend will feature Metro Cinema at the Garneau Theatre with Sea Change Brewing Co. on site for beer tastings during the films RUN TERRY RUN on Friday, September 25 and CLUB KID on Saturday, September 26).
