When two Marine Archaeologists die on the job, a rumour spreads throughout their small Northern Alberta town of a hidden treasure buried on their farm. 10 years later, 18 year old Ridley is haunted by the death of his parents and hopelessly dreams of going to college and moving on with his life. Unfortunately, his 12-year-old sister, Amelia, is desperate to connect with their parents' memory and spends her days obsessively searching for the rumoured treasure.
When a group of thieves (led by Ridley's ex-boyfriend) show up at the secluded property, intent on claiming the treasure for themselves, the sibling's relationship is challenged and they are forced to face reality in order to survive.
