Wednesday nights at Kinshi Rinji have turned into one of Edmonton’s busiest comedy rooms. Maki Happy Comedy Jam puts local stand-ups, touring pros and the occasional surprise guest on stage in the restaurant’s lounge every week.

The best part is that it’s free, with no cover. RSVP on Eventbrite so the organizers know you’re coming, and get there early. Doors open at 7:30 pm, the show starts at 8, and seating is first come, first served.

Come hungry, too. The kitchen serves Vietnamese-Japanese fusion with food and drink specials just for show nights. 18+.
