GEDfest returns to Edmonton! On October 18, 2025, Union Hall hosts GEDfest YEG, celebrating Gord Downie’s legacy through music and community. Enjoy live performances by Hipnautical (The Tragically Hip tribute), plus local acts Blues at 11 and Monks on Call.

Since its start in Calgary, GEDfest has raised over $350,000 for cancer research. This year’s goal: $50,000 in support of the Ben Stelter Foundation, helping kids battling cancer.
