Calling all wine lovers --especially BC wine enthusiasts to join us for a night of exceptional food and fun exploring the best in Canadian wine! We welcome head sommelier, Bram Bolwijn from the Iconic Wineries of BC to lead us through an evening experiencing the wines of Checkmate Artisanal Winery, Marin's Lane Winery and top wine from Mission Hill Estate.
The evening will feature 5 premium wines paired with a multi-course meal by Chef Blair Lebsack and Chef Jared Dunn.
Bram Bolwijn is renowned for his passion and enthusiasm for wine, which he pours into every glass he serves in the Okanagan Valley. His journey began in the Netherlands, where he developed an early interest in the hospitality industry. To further his knowledge, he moved to Bordeaux, France, where he completed his Sommelier Accreditation and gained experience in Michelin Star restaurants.
These experiences equipped Bram with the skills to deliver exceptional wine and hospitality service. Seeking new opportunities, he moved to the Okanagan Valley in British Columbia, Canada, where he embraced the innovative new-world wine style. As an ambassador for the Canadian wine industry, Bram uses his extensive wine knowledge and experience to share the unique story of Canadian wines and promote them internationally.
