Join on Friday, June 19, 1 - 4 PM, at okimaw peyesew kamik as they celebrate National Indigenous Peoples Day.
This gathering is an opportunity to come together in community and recognize the histories, cultures, and contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples. The day will include cultural programming, music, drummers and dancers, face painting and cotton candy for children, and a community BBQ with hotdogs, chips, and water. There will also be a tipi set up outside with an Elder offering teachings throughout the afternoon.
