Bent Stick Brewing is closing down 78 Avenue, just west of 99 Street, for a free-entry Oktoberfest street party over two days.
Big tents from River City Events line the street, with German-style beers brewed for the occasion. Blind Enthusiasm, Shiddy's Distilling and Yeasty Boys Brewing are also on the poster.
Food comes from Pals, Bon Ton Bakery, Fuge Sausage and Pitt County BBQ, with pretzels, brats and smoked chicken on the menu.
The party runs from noon to 10 pm both days.
