The Stony Plain Business Association brings its free community movie night back to RioCan Mayfield Common on August 22, 2026, and this year marks the event's first-ever double feature.
Gates and pre-show entertainment open at 2:00pm, with balloon animals from Still Twisted Balloons, airbrush tattoos by Eveline, and a magic performance. First up - the family feature: Goat, screens from 3:30 to 5:10pm, followed by an intermission comedy set from Grindstone Theatre. The second feature, Jurassic World Rebirth, runs from 6:35 to 8:50pm, rounding out the double feature movie night.
The event is free with no registration, admission is first come first served, and it's drive-in style, so grab a friend, bring a chair or pull up! Parking is available on site, the site is paved and accessible, and portable toilets are provided.
