The Edmonton Short Film Festival is marking Truth and Reconciliation Day with a free community gathering built around Indigenous storytelling. Partnering with Audreys Books, ESFF brings together local Indigenous filmmakers and authors for an evening of short films, readings, and conversation.
Elder Dan Cardinal will open the event with a smudge at 4:30pm. The program begins at 4:45pm with two Indigenous authors and two Indigenous filmmakers sharing their work, each followed by a Q&A session.
The event is free, but space is limited and registration is required.
