About DARK

DARK is the largest haunt in the city and comes with some honest-to-goodness scares. There’s more haunts here than any other place in Edmonton and there’s a brand new theme, every year. The scare zones are full of actors and you can grab food or drinks on-site.

Highlights

  • Multiple haunted houses with a new haunt each year plus returning favourites

  • Walkthrough scare zones with no lineups; the scares find you

  • Food trucks, craft cocktails & spooky brews

  • Hotel Selkirk packages to stay overnight inside the park for the full experience

Tickets

DARK is a ticketed event sold through Fort Edmonton Park. Expect tiered options: General Admission plus a Fast Pass add-on to skip haunt lineups on busy nights. In recent years GA ran around $50 and the Fast Pass around $30 (plus service fees and GST) — tickets will go on sale in the fall.

Good to Know & Getting There

Dress warm! Late-October nights get cold, and much of the event is outdoors on unpaved historic streets. Weekend nights are busiest, so a Fast Pass is worth it if you're going on a Friday or Saturday. The sell out risk on this one is high - get your tickets early to avoid disappointment.
