It’s Fringe season and we’re here for it. Edmonton Fringe Festival is North America’s largest and longest-running fringe festival - and fills Old Strathcona with performers, patios and food - every August. Location: Old Strathcona (festival heart), with venues across the city including the French Quarter, 124 Street, and Downtown
Admission: Festival grounds are free to roam; indoor theatre shows are ticketed. All tickets for fringe are $20 and under.

About the Fringe
Fringe has been around since the early 80s and is unjuried and uncensored. That means that shows are chosen by lottery, artists set their own prices, and performers keep 100% of the money that they earn from the shows. There are 200+ indoor productions and 1,300 live performances to experience in 026 from local, national and international artists. There’s drama, musical theatre, improv, comedy and so much more - across 30 different venues.

Tickets
All tickets for Edmonton Fringe estival are sold through the official Fringe Site. The ticket prices are capped at $20 or less, making it an incredible way to experience local arts and discover theatre without breaking the bank. Often, you’ll find tickets and experiences for even less than $20! Check twice when you buy your tickets, there are no refunds, exchanges or late entry - arrive on time for your show!
Getting to Fringe
Old Strathcona is well trafficked by ETS buses, and the free Fringe Shuttle links the main grounds to the French Quarter. We find the parking at Fringe Festival to be some of the easiest of the summer - so we don’t mind parking on site.
