Taste of Edmonton 2026

Taste of Edmonton is Western Canada’s biggest outdoor food festival. Every year it turns Churchill Square into an open air food festival where you can try 200+ dishes from 50 local restaurants and food trucks. There’s live music on the main stage, an artisan market and the chance to discover a new favourite dish - right here in Edmonton.

  • Dates: July 16 – 26, 2026 - Sun–Thu 11 a.m. – 10 p.m.; Fri & Sat 11 a.m. – 11 p.m.; final Sunday (July 26) 11 a.m. – 9 p.m.

  • Admission:Free to enter — food sampled with tickets (Most dishes are 2-4 tickets each to sample)

About Taste of Edmonton

Taste of Edmonton has been curating Edmonton’s best dishes during the summer food festival for forty years! Come hungry, grab a pack of tickets and try the sharable, small plates as you taste your way through what Edmonton has to offer. There are nearly 100 new items for 2026 - and you can use your tickets on any day of the festival - making it easy to come for a taste more than once during the ten day event.

Tickets & Pricing

At Taste of Edmonton, dishes are going to run you 2-4 tickets per item. You can buy your tickets in advance to save up to ten bucks a sheet - online until July 14, 2026 and select physical locations (like your local Co-op store) until the 15th. After that, you’re going to have to get your ticket on site, at full price.

Getting to Taste of Edmonton

Transit drops you right at the gates. The Capital, Metro, and Valley Line LRT plus ETS buses all serve downtown. Bike lockups are on-site, and paid parkades and lots are within walking distance. Skip the hassle of dealing with parking - and try park and ride to get to the festival this summer.
