  Free Popcorn Day got an upgrade at Cineplex in 2026 with FREE Popcorn with every movie ticket - January 16-19, 2026. • Wine Wars III Curated Chef Dinner

Throughout the evening, the passionate chocolate maker - Antoine Lavoie - will guide you through a selected chocolate-wine flight whilst giving insights on both products, including how chocolate is made. Enjoy a welcome pour upon arrival, and snack on cheese and charcuterie alongside pairings.

• Led Zeppelin IV at Winspear Centre

  There will be five showtimes and two different programs, about 120 minutes each. Featuring mountain sports and culture, with eight different short films in each program, the Banff World Tour consistently leaves audiences breathless and inspired.

• Watch the Ice Carvers at Chiseled Ice Carving Festival
  Head down to Ice district and cross your fingers for some cooler weather so the sculptures stick around! Carving will take place daily from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., weather permitting, and the public is invited to watch the artists use chainsaws, chisels, and other specialized tools to create these magnificent pieces of art.

• Drawing and Sound Gathering

  We’ve had such a great time with our Drawing and Sound gatherings, that we want to have at least one more! So, come along on what is almost certain to be a wonderful, wintery Saturday afternoon and make some visual art! We’ll have all the paper, pastels, pencils, crayons and other stuff you could ask for, and some incredible, live sound to inspire you. Once again, your hosts will be amazing artist Asal Andarzipour and brilliant sound artist Michael Reinhart. You can sit and draw, colour to your heart’s content, just like when you were a kid! Thank you to Harcourt House Artist Run Centre for making this event possible!

• Dueling Piano Party at Spotlight Cabaret
  Dueling Pianos is an all-request, rock-and-roll party where YOU pick the playlist. We present two world-class piano entertainers who mix music, comedy and audience interaction in an incredible show! Dueling Pianos is everything from Billy Joel to Bon Jovi, Britney Spears to Bruno Mars. It’s a concert, comedy show and cabaret, all rolled into one!

  Swing​‘n Skate will be back at City Hall on Sundays from 1:00 – 4:00 pm throughout January and February. Show off your best moves to some swing, big band, soca, salsa and more inside Edmonton City Hall. If you’d rather be outdoors, the music will be broadcast directly outside for ice skaters at City Hall Plaza. Programming line-up coming soon!

• Catch Astronomica in Edmonton
