Move for Melanoma Edmonton 2026: Register for the September 27 Fun Run

Move for Melanoma is back in Edmonton for its second year, taking over Whitemud Park on Sunday, September 27 at 10 a.m.

Participants can choose a 3K or 5K route and walk, run, or roll their way through — whatever suits your pace and your crew. It's part of a national weekend of fundraising (September 26–27) organized by the Save Your Skin Foundation, supporting Canadians affected by melanoma, non-melanoma skin cancers, and ocular melanoma.

The event doesn't wrap up at the finish line. Stick around afterward for lunch, live music, a bonfire with s'mores, face painting, crafts, and lawn games — it's built as a family-friendly morning, not just a race.

Funds raised go directly toward patient support: travel assistance for treatment, financial aid, and other resources for people navigating a skin cancer diagnosis. This year's local goal is $25,000.
