District 102, Drink + Eatery is turning Halloween into something a little darker, a little stranger, and a lot more memorable this year with its Last Meal Dinner Series. The series features two nights of chef-curated dinners inspired by the final meal requests of history's most notorious figures - and is, without a doubt, one of the most unique ways to celebrate Halloween in Edmonton.
This isn't about glorifying the individuals featured. It's a culinary and storytelling experience, using one of history's strangest traditions — the last meal — as a jumping-off point for creativity in the kitchen during spooky season.

Oct 24 — John Wayne Gacy's Last Request
Known as the "Killer Clown," Gacy's final meal is reimagined here as a creative three-course dinner: fried shrimp balls, buttermilk fried chicken supreme, and strawberry shortcake, paired with the Red Balloon cocktail. Buy Tickets
Oct 31 — Ted Bundy's Last Breakfast
Bundy famously declined a special last meal, opting instead for a standard prison breakfast. District 102 transforms that simple request into something considerably more elevated: baked boursin bruschetta toast, steak bites and potato hash with an onsen egg, and strawberry French toast bread pudding, finished with "A Glass of Milk," a creamy milk punch cocktail.
