TITANIC Is Coming to Edmonton’s Drive-In October 28 (and You Can Pay by the Carload)
Titanic. On a giant outdoor screen. From the comfort of your own car. On October 28, Horizon Drive-In is showing James Cameron’s 1997 epic in Edmonton. The best part: you pay for the car, not per person. Bring the whole crew.
Titanic Drive-In Movie Night in Edmonton, October 28, 2026
If there’s a movie that’s deserving of hte big screen - it’s Titanic. It won 11 Oscars, and it’s all about scale: the ship, the staircase, the sinking. Most of us have only seen it on a TV. And if you’re going to cry - you can do it in your own car.
One ticket, the whole car
A carload ticket is $32. Five people? Split it five ways. Minivan full of friends? Even better. This is the outing for the friend who saw it in theatres three times in 1998. It’s also the outing for the teenager who only knows the “I’m flying” scene from TikTok.
When: Wednesday, October 28 at 7:00 p.m.
Where: Edmonton Valley Zoo
Drive-In Survival Tips for a Three-Hour Movie in October
Protect your battery. Sound comes through your FM radio, and three-plus hours of radio can drain an older battery. Bring a portable radio or toss booster cables in the trunk.
Crack a window. A carful of people plus cold air means foggy glass in about ten minutes. Keep a cloth handy.
Dress for the ending, not the opening. It gets colder as the night goes on. Bring blankets, toques, and a thermos.
Snacks. The iceberg hits around the halfway point. After that, nobody’s leaving their seat.
