Alberta filmmakers take centre stage this October as the Edmonton Short Film Festival returns for two nights of screenings at Landmark Cinemas 9 Edmonton City Centre.
October 17 kicks off with the Red Carpet Gala (6:00–11:30 PM), spotlighting short films from across the province — from emerging voices to established creatives showcasing the range of Alberta's independent film scene.
On October 18, the festival's Long Shorts/International program (12:00–4:00 PM) widens the lens with Canadian and international short films, offering a look at stories and styles from filmmakers around the world.
