BC electro-folk duo Moontricks bring their signature blend of banjo, guitar and bass-heavy production to Edmonton.
Nathan Gurley and Sean Rodman formed the project after meeting at Shambhala Music Festival, fusing Gurley's electronic production with Rodman's guitar, banjo and songwriting. The result is a genre-crossing sound rooted in folk and blues but built for the dance floor, earning them a loyal festival following across North America and beyond.
Their breakout track "Home" has racked up millions of streams and been licensed for shows on Netflix and Fox Sports. Known for high-energy live sets, Moontricks are festival mainstays, having played Shambhala every year since their 2013 debut alongside stops at Lightning in a Bottle and Rainbow Serpent.
