The YEG Post-Secondary SCUBA Club is kicking off with a free mixer for Edmonton's post-secondary students curious about life beneath the waves. Created in partnership with Ocean Sports, the Alberta Underwater Council, and Wing Divers, the club welcomes everyone from certified divers to complete beginners. Members can access discounted SCUBA training and local diving trips, volunteer opportunities within the diving community, scholarships and grants for diving activities, regular community events, and a newsletter covering Alberta's diving scene.
The kick-off mixer runs Wednesday, September 16 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Ocean Sports, with no registration required. Students can drop by to learn about the club, meet fellow divers, and find out how to get involved.
