Mother's Day Ceramic Vase Workshop

  • 10137 104 Street Northwest Edmonton, AB, T5J 0Z9 Canada (map)

Create a one-of-a-kind ceramic vase for that one-of-a-kind Mom for her special day! In this beginner-friendly, hands-on workshop, you'll hand-build your very own ceramic vase, sturdy enough to hold real flowers and beautiful enough to display on its own. Personalize it however you like: add florals, butterflies, a heartfelt message - your mom's favourite things. The clay is yours to do with what you want. You can even add names to make it extra special.

Stephanie Jonsson is a professional artist who has been teaching for over 20 years, every level from 4 years old to post secondary students and seniors. She truly loves ceramics and wants everyone to discover the joy of it for themselves. She invites you to come make something meaningful.

This is a 2 day event scheduled over 2 weeks. Day 1 (Saturday, April 25th) is for creating with clay, then the pieces will go through one firing, called a bisque firing, then you’ll return on Day 2 (Saturday, May 2nd) to finish glazing (adding colour) to their vases. There are two time slots available, 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.
