As summer settles in, the energy around us becomes brighter and more expansive. The days are long, the air is warm, and everything feels alive.
Under the Golden Anniversary Exhibit, we practice amongst hydrangeas. They are known for their vibrant colour and their ability to shift depending on the soil they’re rooted in. They remind us that what’s happening beneath the surface influences how we show up outwardly.
This month’s practice will match the energy of the summer season. We’ll move through sun salutations and strong standing sequences to build strength, stamina, and steady heat in the body. We will then move to the floor to ground the energy, slowing the pace and giving the body time to settle. Longer holds and intentional rest will allow the nervous system to recalibrate so you leave feeling balanced, not depleted.
Let’s step fully into summer and embrace the light of the season.
Come tap into your inner fire and bask in the radiance within.
