The Ceviche Experience brings its Peruvian supper club to District Café & Bakery downtown. Expect a bright, four-course menu that’s a welcome break from the November chill.
Chef Jose’s winter menu draws on his South American upbringing and his years cooking in Latin American, Italian, Japanese and Chinese fusion kitchens. Dinner opens with toasted bread and vinagreta. Next come prawn causa on ají amarillo potato, then king salmon tiradito with crispy wontons and a soy-sesame drizzle.
Ceviche mixto with cancha corn and sweet potato follows, and the night wraps up with lucuma mousse topped with meringue. Pisco sours, chilcanos and wine are available as add-ons, along with alcohol-free versions of the cocktails.
Dinner is $110 per person. Your reservation ticket goes toward that total, and the rest is paid after the meal. There are no walk-ins, and it’s 18+.
