Delavoye Chocolate Maker is known for its meticulous, small-batch approach to chocolate, taking care to highlight the distinct character of cacao from different origins.
For this event, they're teaming up with Sakegami, a Calgary-based sake curator that showcases sake from different Japanese prefectures, each shaped by its own regional brewing and sourcing traditions.
The evening opens with a welcome pour of sparkling sake, followed by five thoughtfully matched chocolate and sake pairings exploring how the two craft traditions complement each other.
