Keep Design hosts a one-day linocut workshop, guiding you from a blank block through to a finished print.
Instructor Natalie Ley of Snake Bite Creations walks through carving a design up to 4"x6", then printing it by hand with ink and a roller. No experience is required, and it's a low-pressure class with plenty of time to work through a simple design.
All materials are included — block, carving tools, ink, rollers, and paper — and you'll go home with your carved block and paper prints. Come with a design in mind, either to draw freehand on the block or send ahead as a PDF to transfer before class.
The day runs 10am to 3pm, with a carving session in the morning and printing after lunch. Doors open at 9:45am, and free parking is available.
