Ballet Edmonton welcomes two extraordinary international choreographers Cyril Baldy and Marie Gyselbrecht, both building new creations on a Canadian company for the first time. Their work promises to challenge the dancers and audience alike, exploring new limits of the body, new textures of physicality and new perceptions of what dance can be.
Featuring a brand new sound design score from internationally acclaimed Raphaëlle Latini and lighting design from James Proudfoot, this program is a catalyst for risk and an invitation to encounter new possibilities in contemporary ballet.
