Rockin' Thunder

July 11–12, 2026 | Exhibition Lands

Two days, one very loud reason to lose your voice. Edmonton's rock festival roars back with Three Days Grace, The Glorious Sons and Grandson on Saturday, then Creed, Buckcherry and Mammoth on Sunday. Doors open at 1 p.m. both days. Single-day and two-day passes let you dip in or go full weekend warrior. Your ears won't forgive you — do it anyway.

Free Admission to Art Gallery of Alberta

Culture on the house. On the last Thursday of the month, the Art Gallery of Alberta drops its $17 admission and swings the doors open free from 4 to 7 p.m. This July, that's the 30th. Wander three floors inside Edmonton's swooping, aurora-inspired landmark and catch John Will: Born in the UFO, a career-spanning retrospective of Alberta's most gleefully irreverent artist.
